UP 8516 leads a westbound freight past the Rochelle Railroad Park on a nice Autumn afternoon.
UP 8516 rolls west with a covered hopper train on the mainline a few miles east of Ogallala, NE. This train appeared to be an empty soda ash train headed to western Wyoming.
A train bound for the UP sweeps around the curve just west of Otis.
A Mesquite to LA stack train comes around the shoofly under the Palmdale Cutoff.
The 8516 makes its way east at Garnet in very windy conditions.
